Moosic, Pa.-based Jack Williams Tire will add two more stores by the end of the year, with five more planned for 2002.
The 72-year-old company is one of the most active independent tire dealerships in the Northeast with 20 outlets and $43 million in annual sales.
Last month, company President and CEO Bill Williams sold its commercial division to Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. for an undisclosed sum. Williams plans to focus on retail sales and auto service.
