The Reinalt-Thomas Corp. has opened two Discount Tire stores in Texas and two America’s Tire stores in California. The company now operates 232 Discount Tire stores in Texas and 137 America’s Tire stores in California.
The Texas stores are in Katy and Leander; the California stores are in Millbrae and Palmdale.
The store in Katy, Texas, is the fourth Discount Tire outlet in that community. Located at 5818 N. Fry Road, the store is managed by said Erin McCleary, who has worked for the company for 21 years. Seven of the 12 employees at the Katy store are new hires.
The store in Leander, Texas, is Discount Tire’s first outlet in that city. It is located at 1105 Highway 183 and is managed by Sid Bergeron, who has worked for the company for 13 years. Eleven of the 12 employees at the Leander store are new hires.
The store in Palmdale, Calif., is the first America’s Tire store in that city. The store is located at 38235 47th Street E. It is managed by Michael Fallon, who has worked for the company for 18 years. The Palmdale store has nine employees. The company says it expects to add positions as the store grows.
The store in Millbrae, Calif., is the first America’s tire store in that community. Located at 1155 El Camino Real, the store is managed by Juan Garcia, who has 16 years of service with the company. The Millbrae store has seven new employees, and the company says it expects to add positions as the store grows.
Discount Tire and America’s Tire are part of the Reinalt-Thomas Corp., which ranks No. 1 on the 2014 MTD 100. Chairman Bruce Halle is the Modern Tire Dealer 2014 Tire Dealer of the Year.
