The Louisiana Independent Tire Dealers Association (LITDA) is hosting its second annual Fall Event benefitting the LITDA scholarship program Oct. 9-10, 2014, at the Hilton Baton Rouge Capitol Center and Copper Mill Golf Club.
On Thursday, Oct. 9, LITDA is hosting a golf pairing and cocktail reception at 6 p.m. in the Kingfish Lounge located at the Hilton Baton Rouge Capitol Center in Baton Rouge, La.
On Friday, Oct. 10, the association is holding its fall golf tournament at Copper Mill Golf Club in Zachary, La. Registration opens at 10 a.m. and the tournament begins at 11 a.m.
“We are very excited to host LITDA’s second annual Fall Event and golf tournament which will have great food, drinks and fun while raising money for the next generation,” says LITDA President Roger Spears.
The proceeds of the LITDA 2014 Fall Event benefit the LITDA scholarship fund, which honors students who work or have family in the industry, and have proven community leadership and academic excellence. The Fall Event comes on the heels of the first annual Dollars for Scholars fundraiser held June 28, 2014. Forty LITDA member locations participated in the fundraiser, which generated more than $1,000.
Registration for the LITDA Fall Event is $125 per player and is open to independent tire dealers and vendors. Sponsorship and exhibitor opportunities are available, and include a variety of benefits.
