To honor America’s professional truck drivers, Southern Tire Mart at Pilot Flying J is providing free "Safe and Road-Ready Checks" during Driver Appreciation Week, which runs Sept. 13-17.
Professional drivers are invited to take advantage of this complimentary service at all Southern Tire Mart at Pilot Flying J centers across the country.
“We are proud to partner with drivers and recognize the importance of what they do for this country each and every day,” says John Boynton, president of Southern Tire Mart at Pilot Flying J.
“Helping them stay road-ready is what we do best and we are happy to provide our 'Safe and Road-Ready Checks' free of charge for Driver Appreciation Week as a small token of our respect and thanks.”
The checks will focus on tires and brakes, but also will encompass inspections of lights, exhaust systems, windshields and other components.
"Performing proper inspections on each of these will help reduce the chances of receiving a violation," say Southern Tire Mart at Pilot Flying J officials.
In addition to checks, each customer will receive a complimentary Driver Appreciation Week tumbler.
Boynton says Southern Tire Mart at Pilot Flying J is committed to getting drivers in, out and back on the road as safely and efficiently as possible.
“Thorough preventative maintenance checks, standard truck services and dependable, name-brand tires are what fleet drivers can always expect" from the chain, he notes.
