PPG Introduces Wheel Refurbishing Program

PPG Commercial Coatings has introduced the PPG Wheel Refurbishing Program, which features the PPG ENVIROCRON family of powder coatings. The program was created to address the needs of commercial tire retreaders.

According to PPG officials, the program transforms rusty, corroded wheels to near-original equipment quality. Also through the program, the company provides a comprehensive system to improve the efficiency of the refurbishing process.  

Powder coatings include a direct-to-metal formulation that delivers corrosion protection with no need to prime.
