Avantech Tires LLC is bringing its new line of commercial truck tires to the United States.
The tires - which will be sold under the Avantech brand and are now available for order - target long-haul, regional and mixed-service applications, says Helen Yang, president of Avantech Tires.
“This is a brand that has been developed for a very targeted market segment in the U.S. market,” says Yang.
The tires are being made by Qingdao Sentury Tire Co. Ltd. at its Thailand plant.
“There is an increasing demand for high-quality products” in the U.S. market, she says.
Avantech brand tires are currently sold by the container, but the company is looking to expand its distribution base in the U.S. by pursuing a combination of regional wholesale-distributors and servicing commercial tire dealerships.
Yang adds that more Avantech commercial tire products are in development. “We plan to introduce tires for more commercial applications.”
