Snider Fleet Solutions will relocate its corporate headquarters from Greensboro, N.C., to a new office in Fort Mill, S.C., outside Charlotte.
The larger, 50,000-square-foot facility "affords the company space to absorb its rapid growth," say Snider officials.
Snider is the second largest independent commercial tire dealership in the United States, according to MTD research.
It also is the fifth largest retreader in the U.S., according to MTD's recently published 2023 Top 50 Retreaders in the U.S. list.
“This relocation is an exciting next step in cementing our future as the premier provider in our industry,” says Snider CEO Marty Herndon. “We are eager to engage with talented associates in the area as we expand our support services.
"This is a great growth opportunity for Snider, our customers, employees and suppliers. As a native South Carolinian, I look forward to the company being an active member in our community, Lancaster County and the state.
"This move gives us the space and location to best manage our expanding offerings to customers across our service area," he says.
"Our corporate staff has been working in multiple offices throughout the Carolinas. We will now be able to bring our team together and have all that talent collaborating in this new office.”
Snider's new office "is not far from Charlotte’s airport, which will be convenient for staff and visiting customers, as well," say Snider officials.
"After the management team settles in, there will still be plenty of space for new hires recruited from the local area. The Charlotte metro area is a top business growth area in the Southeast and offers a diverse, educated and growing population to support Snider’s continued growth over the coming years."
John Snider was named MTD's Tire Dealer of the Year Award recipient in 2010.
