Yokohama TWS Releases Trelleborg Implement Tire, HF1000
Yokohama TWS, formerly Trelleborg Wheel Systems, will unveil its new Trelleborg implement tire, the HF1000, at the U.S. Farm Progress Show on Aug. 29-31 in Decatur, Ill.
The new tire is designed to handle “demanding operations” and “ensure long-lasting durability,” according to officials.
Also, on display at booth #1062 is the ProgressiveTraction tire tread technology, which allows for high traction capacity and soil protection. Tires TM3000 for harvesters, combine machines and spreaders will be on display as well as the TM600 with ProgressiveTraction technology.
According to Yokohama TWS officials, features of the HF1000 tire are VF casing and steel belted structure for long durability; a tread pattern that is 12.5% wider; a self-cleaning feature that allows for 40% more drivability in tire performance; and more.
“We’re excited to introduce our next-generation implement tire to North American farmers, the HF1000, and showcase our ProgressiveTraction technology, made to improve agribusiness operations,” says Chris Neidert, North American training and development manager, Yokohama TWS.
“When it comes to more efficient farming, Trelleborg continues to be at the forefront, aligning with machinery manufacturers to design and develop new tire solutions to improve productivity and efficiency while respecting the environment.”
