Hankook Tire America Corp. unveiled two new TBR tires at the Technology & Maintenance Council (TMC) show - the SmartLine AL52 and the SmartLine DL52.
Hankook also is showcasing its tire-mounted sensor technology (TMS) and Fleet Management Solution (FMS) for commercial vehicle operators.

"Our SmartLine AL52 and SmartLine DL52 provide long-haul solutions that are more economical and sustainably minded and improve on critical performance categories to help our nation's truckers go further."
Both tires are designed for long-haul fitments and include Hankook’s latest TBR innovations, including the Hidden Groove technology, which adjusts tread patterns as the tire wears.
Hankook’s TMS and FMS offerings will showcase how sensors enable remote monitoring of tire pressure, temperature and wear.
Also on display at Hankook Tire’s TMC booth (#1069) is the company's Spiral-Coil technology – a belt reinforcement method applied to Hankook's ultra super single product. This technology improves the tire’s contact area with the road surface.
The TMC show is taking place in New Orleans, La.
