Bridgestone Launches All-Weather Medium Truck Tire
Bridgestone Americas Inc. has introduced the Bridgestone W920, a tandem-axle radial drive tire designed to excel in all weather conditions.
"The W920 features Bridgestone’s next-generation ENLITEN technology, tailored specifically for extended tire life and maximum traction while promoting a focus on enhanced sustainability," say Bridgestone officials.
"Weather plays a significant role in every fleet’s journey," says Brad Booth, director, Canadian commercial sales, Bridgestone Americas. "Our aim with the W920 is to mitigate risks and elements that weather brings to the road and give drivers more confidence in these uncertain conditions.
"The Bridgestone W920 tire with ENLITEN technology illustrates our company’s passion for bringing products to the market that directly respond to the needs of fleets in different regions.”
The Bridgestone W920, which replaces the Bridgestone W919, is the third ENLITEN tire for the commercial truck segment to debut so far in 2025.
"Bridgestone’s ENLITEN technology underscores the company’s commitment to advanced engineering that supports customers’ business requirements and sustainability goals," say company officials.
Features include 3-Peak Mountain Snowflake certification; a non-directional tread pattern to simplify mounting and rotation; a premium casing "designed to deliver multiple retread cycles;" and more.
Made at Bridgestone's Warren County, Tenn., plant, the Bridgestone W920 will initially launch in size 11R22.5, with additional sizes coming in 2026.
