Sailun Brings S638 City Convoy to U.S.

Sailun Tire Americas' S638 City Convoy bus tire is now available in the United States exclusively through TBC Corp.

"With a focus on extended lifespan and cost-efficiency, the S638 is engineered to stand up to the demanding conditions of city driving, while providing enhanced traction and protection," say Sailun officials.

Available in size 305/70R22.5, the tire features a wide shoulder rib "that is specifically designed to handle the high levels of lateral scrubbing common in urban transit environments. In addition, a 5/32-inch sidewall protection rib is incorporated to guard against curb abrasion, ensuring a longer-lasting casing even in challenging city conditions."

The S639 City Convoy can be used in all positions "on urban transit vehicles, providing flexibility across different applications," according to Sailun officials, and delivers low cost-per-mile and exceptional longevity. The tire sports sidewall protection ribs to resist curb scrubbing. It also has earned 3-Peak Mountain Snowflake certification.

"The S638 City Convoy is backed by Sailun’s comprehensive eight-year warranty, covering defects in workmanship and materials for eight years from the date of manufacture. The warranty also includes a casing replacement program with up to three retreads."
