Ascenso Tires North America has announced the launch of its FFB 841 and FFB 843 Forestry Forwarder Tires.
These tires were specifically engineered to endure harsh forestry environments.
“These new forestry forwarder tires are a direct response to the industry’s need for durable, high-performance products capable of handling extreme loads and rugged terrains,” says Nick Phillippi, director - product management at Ascenso Tires North America.
“The FFB 841 and FFB 843 set a new benchmark in traction, durability, and operational efficiency for forestry equipment.”
Key features of the FFB 841 include an optimized tread design with inter-lug terraces for traction and self-cleaning, a center tie bar for reducing lug shuffling and extending tread life, reinforced steel belts for puncture resistance, robust sidewall with Stubble Guard Compound for protection against sharp objects and reinforced bead area for easier mounting and resistance to rim slippage.
The FFB 841 was also designed for easy and secure track fitment to ensure consistent performance during logging operations.
Highlights of the FFB 843 include a flotation tread design for traction and self-cleaning, a strong nylon carcass for high load-carrying capacity, center overlapping lugs for reduced tread wear, an optimized bead area to reduce the risk of bead failure and Special Stubble Resistance compound that extends tire life and provides protection against stubble damage.
The FFB 841 is available in the sizes 600/55-26.5 (SB); 710/40-22.5 (SB); 710/45-26.5 (SB); and 750/55-26.5 (SB). The FFB 843 is available in 400/60-15.5 (SB). Both tires and sizes are available by container order and are backed by Ascenso’s Drive-On 5-Year Warranty, offering peace of mind and long-term performance.
