Jay Dhillon Appointed BKT USA President

Balkrishna Industries Ltd. (BKT) has appointed Jay Dhillon as president of BKT USA and Minoo Mehta as senior advisor for the truck and bus radial tires business of BKT. 

Dhillon has over 20 years of global leadership experience in the tire industry and will lead the BKT subsidiary in Ohio to further grow the company’s presence in the off-highway tire market.  

According to BKT officials, Dhillon will focus on guiding BKT’s long-term growth strategy, expanding its presence in new and existing markets and ensuring the company consistently upholds its vision and values in the U.S. market. In this role, Dhillon will oversee the leadership team to align all business units with the company’s strategic goals, while also building strong and profitable strategic partner relationships to position BKT for sustainable growth and continuous industry leadership.

Mehta’s appointment will support and strengthen BKT’s strategy across the truck and bus radial tire segment in the United States market that will “lead to development and launch of new product lines,” according to BKT officials. 

Mehta’s appointment goes into effect Oct. 1, 2025.
