Pre-Q Galgo participated in Steve Shannon Tire Co.'s recent retread plant open house in Bloomsburg, Pa.
The event attracted more than 150 customers.
"Guests enjoyed go-kart racing contests, family-friendly games, prize drawings, cotton candy and a fully catered lunch," say Pre-Q Galgo officials.
Pre-Q Galgo added to the excitement by allowing attendees to win a 65-inch TV.
"The highlight of the event was the retread plant itself. Ben Williams, field technician and Midwest regional sales manager of Pre-Galgo, along with Erick McCracken, vice president of commercial sales and retreading at Steve Shannon Tire, conducted guided tours of the plant throughout the day.
"Together, they led customers and guests through the retreading process, explaining each station and demonstrating how worn tires tires are carefully refurbished and given new life using both Pre-Q tread and the no-splice O-tread."
Pre-Q Galgo officials add that the tours were met "with tremendous enthusiasm."
