Yokohama TWS recently showcased new sizes of its Mitas ag tire range for self-propelled sprayers and row crop applications at the Midwest Ag Industries Exposition (MAGIE).

Two new HC1000 sizes were debuted for the first North American trade show appearance Aug. 26–27 at the McLean County Fairgrounds.

"Designed for modern applicators operating with high loads and demanding field and transport cycles, the new VF HC1000 sizes combine Very High Flexion (VF) technology with a dedicated tread design to support high load capacity, reliable performance and operational efficiency," say Yokohama TWS officials.

"The VF construction provides up to 40% higher load capacity compared with standard radial tires at the same inflation pressure. Alternatively, operators can run at lower inflation pressures while carrying the same load, depending on the application and operating conditions."

Features of the new HC1000 sizes include durability across demanding field and road operations, high load capacity and a wide footprint, high-speed performance and an optimized tread pattern.
