Will Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. post four quarters of net profit for the first time since 1999? You may find out sooner than expected.
Goodyear is planning to release its fourth-quarter results Feb. 14. However, the company will present an overview of its business at the 2012 Deutsche Bank Global Auto Industry Conference in Detroit, Mich., on Jan. 10. Darren Wells, executive vice president and chief financial officer, will not only provide a business overview, but also discuss the company’s strategies for approximately 40 minutes.

Goodyear posted net income of $161 million on net sales of $6.1 billion for its third quarter ended Sept. 30, 2011.
