Alliance Tire recently expanded its offering of forestry tires with the introduction of six new sizes that give operators "the flexibility to use their tractors in the field as well as the forest," say Alliance officials.
New sizes include:
* 18.4-26 and 16.9-30 for the Alliance 345 Forestar LS-w, which is for skidders and forestry tractors.
* 800/40-26.5, 710/45-26.5 and 600/55-26.5 for the Alliance 344 Forestar LS-2 flotation tire. The sizes allow the tire to fit "a wide array" of forwarders and harvesters.
* 420/70-24 for the Alliance F-370 Agroforestry tire. The size lets operators work in both forests and fields without changing air pressure.
The new sizes are part of Alliance's commitment "to maintain its aggressive research and development program as it expands its worldwide production capacity," says Alliance Tire USA President Manny Cicero.
