CTNA targets small fleets with new program

March 20, 2009

Continental Tire North America Inc. (CTNA) has rolled out its ContiFleet program, which is desigend for commercial vehicle fleets and owner-operators who do not qualify for other national road service programs.

With a 24-hour, seven-day hotline, ContiFleet dispatches emergency road services when members call a toll-free number. Membership in the program is free.

"It's difficult for small fleets and owner-operators to know who they're dealing with when they need service the most," says Clif Armstrong, director of sommercial vehicle tire marketing for Continental Tire, the Americas.

The program also includes a Web site that lets members access tire and repair information, learn fuel saving information and receive updates on CTNA products. Members also can receive monthly reports that track each vehicle breakdown and the time it took to service the vehicle.

ContiFleet is slated to launch next month.
