Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. has honored logistics firm Exel with its 2008 Wingfoot Fleet of the Year award, which recognizes carriers for outstanding performance.
The award is based on several achievements, including percentage of shipments delivered without claims, percentage of loads shipped in accordance with plant allocations, and others.
Exel's Stockbridge, Ga., faciity, which provides deliveries to Goodyear dealers in the southeast, was specifically cited in the honor.
