Omni United is certified carbon neutral

Dec. 3, 2013

Omni United Pte. Ltd., parent company of Omni United USA Inc., announced it has been certified as a carbon neutral company for its flagship brand, Radar Tires.

The company says the achievement is the result of a twelve-month effort to measure the Radar Tires brands' global carbon footprint in accordance with certification standards. The company’s multi-faceted approach to reach net zero carbon emissions included supporting hydro energy green projects spread across China.

Certification involved a rigorous and independent assessment of greenhouse gas emissions, coupled with an offset-inclusive emissions reduction program.

"We cannot transform the world alone, but want to be a role model and show that if a small company like ours can invest the time, effort, and resources necessary to make this change, then anyone can," says G.S. Sareen, CEO and president.

The company says it is proud to lead the industry in its carbon offset activities and plans to continue diversify its green activities in order to generate positive carbon credits in the future.

Omni United offers passenger car, SUV, truck, bus, and farm tires marketed under own four brand names: Radar, Goodride, Roadlux and Corsa. For more information, visit
