As the official tire of the U.S. Women’s National Team, Continental Tire the Americas LLC is spreading the soccer love by handing over its @continentaltire Twitter account to men's soccer legend Cobi Jones. Jones will be live tweeting for Continental during the first three U.S. FIFA Women's World Cup games.
The U.S. women's team kicks off its first game at 7:30 p.m. ET Monday, June 8, 2015, against Australia. Jones will provide expert insight and answer questions using the hashtag #AskCobi.. Fans also can follow Jones on Twitter @CobiJones.

Jones' professional career spanned from 1994 – 2007 as a midfielder, beginning in the English Premiere League and then on to Brazil, before moving back to the U.S. to play for the LA Galaxy for 12 seasons. One of the first stars of Major League Soccer (MLS), Jones is the all-time leader in caps for the U.S. Men’s National Team. With appearances in the ’94, ’98 and ’02 World Cup events and a member of the 1992 US Olympic Team, Jones has earned his National Soccer Hall of Fame honor. Today, Jones is a TV analyst for the LA Galaxy games on Time Warner Cable SportsNet, FOX Sports, BeIN Sports, and Pac-12 Network.
