Omni United Renews Partnership with LPGA Golfer

Jan. 24, 2018

Omni United (S) Pte. Ltd. has renewed its partnership with Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) golfer Jodi Ewart Shadoff for a third consecutive year.

The LPGA season opens on Jan. 25 and Shadoff will be starting her season with the ISPS (Inspire Through the Power of Sport) Handa Women’s Open in Australia on Feb. 15.

Over the last three seasons Shadoff has significantly improved her game, notes Omni United. From an official world ranking of 206 in 2015, she finished the 2017 season in 42nd place. She has continually improved on performance parameters such as greens in regulation, number of birdies and also shot her career-best second place finish at the prestigious 2017 British Open and a fourth-place finish at the 2017 Manulife LPGA Classic. Her 2017 season included three top-10 finishes along with a spot on the European Team at the Solheim Cup.

“The support that I have received from everyone at Omni United has been phenomenal,” says Shadoff, who is the company’s ambassador for Radar Tires. “I am proud to be representing a brand that is both socially and environmentally responsible and believes in giving back to society. I am looking forward to a great 2018 season and aim to further improve my game this year.”

Omni United signed Shadoff in April 2016. Over the last two years she has been representing and promoting Radar Tires at the various LPGA tournaments in the U.S., Europe and Asia. She carries the Radar brand logos on her apparel, cap and golf bag. Additionally, since 2016 Shadoff has been actively partnering with Omni United and Radar Tires on their social responsibility initiatives such as supporting the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF), a nonprofit organization committed to prevention and finding a cure for breast cancer.

In 2017, Shadoff partnered with Radar Tires to launch their latest initiative “Birdies for BCRF” in support of the BCRF through its Play for P.I.N.K. program. Badar Tires and Shadoff donated $100 each to the BCRF for every birdie she made in her tournaments during October 2017 (officially recognized as Breast Cancer Awareness Month). This initiative raised $21,800 to fund Breast Cancer Research globally. This sum was over and above Radar Tires’ minimum annual commitment of $50,000, taking the brand’s total donation over the last six years to $1,121,800.

The company plans to continue to focus on activities and programs involving Shadoff and its dealers in 2018 for enhanced promotion and visibility of the Radar Tires brand for its dealers and customers.

“We are proud to have Jodi Ewart Shadoff represent our brand across the continents and I am very thankful to her for partnering with us on our social responsibility initiatives," says GS Sareen, founder and CEO, Omni United. “I am hoping for a successful 2018 season for Jodi and wish her all the best. We will continue to expand our sports marketing programs for Radar Tires during this year for
increased brand promotion.”

The company has other sports marketing programs for its Radar Tires brand. For the past six years, Radar tires has sponsored motorsports teams in several off-road racing series. In a career best, Radar Tires’ sponsored teams have swept the SCORE International Baja races – winning the Baja 250, 500 and 1000 in class 10 in a single year. The company plans to expand its motorsports program by offering more sizes, allowing for enhanced opportunities in several other motorsports classes in 2018.
