TIA adds Cat equipment demo to conference

Oct. 28, 2014

The Tire Industry Association (TIA) has added a demonstration of Caterpillar Inc.’s Cat equipment line to the 2015 OTR Conference set for Feb. 18-21 in Tucson, Arizona.

The Cat Equipment Demo will take place on Friday, Feb. 20, at the company’s Tinaja Hills Demonstration and Learning Center, a 6,500 acre facility in the Sonoran desert in Green Valley, Ariz. In order to accommodate the demo, TIA has released a revised schedule for the program.

The full product line general demonstration will feature Cat machines from the smallest skid steer loader to the larger mining machines. During the show, these machines will simulate many common industry applications such as construction and mining. After the demonstration, attendees will have the opportunity to take photos and get close to all the equipment, short of turning the key.

“We are thrilled that Caterpillar has offered this tremendous and unique opportunity for our delegates to visit their first-class facility and see their equipment up-close and in action,” says TIA Executive Director Roy Littlefield.

All OTR Conference delegates and their registered guests are invited to attend. TIA says those who have already registered for the conference will be receiving registration information for the Cat Equipment Demo via email in the next week.
