Titan, Steelworkers extend contract talks

Titan International Inc. and the United Steelworkers union have agreed to extend their labor contract talks until Dec. 17.

"The parties have been making good progress," say Titan officials. Officials from both parties are negotiating a new labor agreement that would cover the company's plants in Freeport, Ill.; Bryan, Ohio; and Des Moines, Iowa.
