Continental Tire the Americas LLC is expanding its retread lineup with the launch of the ContiTread HDR 5.
The new product is "a durable regional retread designed to help fleets achieve confident handling, reliable traction and long service life on regional routes."
"Designed for regional applications, the ContiTread HDR 5 features a five‑rib tread pattern that delivers predictable control, stability and uniform wear for routes with frequent stops, turns and varying road conditions. Its open shoulder design enhances traction across a range of surfaces and weather conditions, providing dependable real‑world performance without sacrificing durability or mileage," say Continental officials.
Built with durability and performance balance in mind, the ContiTread HDR 5 delivers reliable traction without sacrificing mileage, helping fleets get more value from each retread cycle.

The ContiTread HDR 5 will be available in 210, 220, 230, and 240 widths with a 25/32 tread depth, providing flexibility for a variety of regional truck applications.
