The new PT-Trac ag tire from Petlas Tire Corp. is designed to decrease soil compaction, fuel consumption and slippage.
Engineered using the company's CupWheel technology, the tire features even pressure distribution. The company says the PT-Trac decreases soil compaction on long-term yields with an extremely wide footprint designed to gently touch the ground without damaging the roots below the surface.
The PT-Trac also provides less slippage and more drag force. The new tire transfers full vehicle power to the ground by decreasing slippage and boosting drag force, according to the company. This leads to significant improvement in efficiency in terms of performance and fuel consumption.
In addition, the smooth ride of the PT-Trac enhances comfort and also ensures consistency on traction which is crucial for precision of rowing and spraying operations.
