Yokohama Tire Corp. has launched the RR42, a new radial tire designed for IND-4 straddle carriers.
It is available in size 16.00R25.
Features include an all-new tread pattern and two optimized circumferential grooves for long, even wear and vibration reduction; specially designed center rib grooves for heat dissipation; dual sidewall protectors for cut and chip resistance; and others.
“The RR42 is engineered to handle rigorous operation in port facilities, where managing increased container volumes is critical,” says Tom Clauer, senior manager of commercial and OTR product planning, Yokohama.
“The RR42’s long-lasting tread will assure improved uptime and value to every port’s operation.”
