Hunter Engineering Co. has released its next-generation drive-over tire tread depth measuring tool, Quick Tread Edge.
The company edge wear detection capability is a new feature that provides a greater analysis of overall tire condition. Service providers can now better identify tire wear on the ‘edge’ of every tire to provide a complete summary of a tire’s overall tread depth for customers.
The Quick Check Drive and Quick Tread Edge systems are connected with Hunter’s online business intelligence tool, HunterNet, which displays digital inspection findings through the Flightboard display. Quick Tread Edge is also compatible with Hunter’s automatic vehicle identification system, Quick ID.
