Conti names supervisory board chairman

The supervisory board of Continental AG has named Dr. Ing. Wolfgang Reitzle its chairman and Wolfgang Schafer a regular member of its executive board.

Reitzle also serves as CEO of Behr Germany, a subsidiar of Behr GmbH & Co. KG.

In related news, Continental has appointed Jose Avila to its executive board. He will take over as head of the company's Powertrain division, effective Jan. 1.
