CITEXPO grows: 2011 is biggest to date

Aug. 22, 2011

The 9th China International Tire EXPO (CITEXPO) will be held at Shanghai Everbright Convention and Exhibition Center Sept. 7-9, 2011. The growing annual event already had 200 exhibitors booked as of June (see CITEXPO 2011: why you should visit Shanghai).

According to the organizer, Reliable International Exhibition Services Co. Ltd. (RIES), the size of the show has again broken attendance records. Over 280 exhibitors will showcase a wide range of tire industry products including: radial tires; bias tires; wheels and rims; tire maintenance equipment; retread materials and equipment; tire production material and equipment; and tire accessories.

One of the show’s goals is to keep Chinese tire manufacturers updated with the latest standard tire requirements in the U.S. To update them, RIES has invited officials from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the U.S. Department of Transportation, the Chinese Tire Standardization and Technology Committee and the Chinese National Product Quality Bureau to hold a seminar during CITEXPO 2011.

The 10th CITEXPO in 2012 will take place Sept. 12-14, 2012. More than 100 exhibitors have already registered, according to RIES. For further information visit www.citexpo.com.cn.
