Cooper Tire’s product microsites receive honors

Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. was recently presented with two awards for outstanding websites by the Web Marketing Association.

The company received the “Consumer Goods Outstanding Website” for and the “Consumer Goods Standard of Excellence” for

“This year marks exciting accomplishments for Cooper Tire, including a complete brand refresh and extensive product launches,” said Hal Gardner, marketing communications and market intelligence vice president. “The WebAward recognition is an incredible addition to the year’s achievements and evidence of our goal to create innovative products and support them with tools that fit into consumers’ everyday road trips.”

As part of an enhanced brand message and redesigned website, the microsites were launched to support three of Cooper Tire’s latest products: the Cooper Zeon RS3-A and RS3-S and the Discoverer A/T3. Directly connecting consumers to the products, the sites’ interactivity engages users with video clips demonstrating details on product design and engineering.

The site also includes information on performance throughout different weather and road conditions, a 360-degree view of the tire and tread features, and reviews from valued media outlets. The user-friendly microsites provide an easily accessible tire selector and dealer locator for consumers interested in more information.
