TIA to Offer Second Tire Store Manager Training Class

The Tire Industry Association (TIA) and training company MOHR Retail have scheduled a second Retail Tire Store Leadership training class for January 2021. 

The training course focuses on helping retail tire store managers, assistant managers and others develop the interpersonal and leadership skills needed to help retain and engage their teams and enhance tire store productivity by delivering exceptional performance and customer service. 

The Retail Tire Store Leadership course in January will be taught via eight virtual Zoom meetings over four weeks, with classes held on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting Jan. 12 and ending Feb. 4. The two-hour classes will run from 10 a.m. to noon (EST). Coursework will cover four modules: Foundations: Role of the Leader; Setting Performance Expectations; Improving Below-Standard Performance; and Effective Floor Supervision – Coaching in Real-Time. 

Cost is $750 per student. Class size is limited to 16 and a minimum of nine. Students must attend all eight sessions and do the pre-work to receive a completion certificate.
