Tire Repair Industry Veteran Buck Blair Dies

Tire repair industry veteran Russell "Buck" Blair recently died at the age of 73.

Born in Maysville, Ky., to the late Frank and Betty Blair, he was a longtime executive at Tech International and also served on the Tire Industry Association's board during his multi-decade career.

Blair was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and served during the Vietnam Conflict.

Preceded by his wife, Jennifer Blair, and daughter, Amy Neil, he is survived his his children, Laura (David) Wayne and John (Emily) Blair; life-partner Debbie Mitchell; grandchildren Rachel Neil, Madison Andrew, Katelyn Neil, Mackenna Andrew, James Blair and Frank Blair; sisters Linda (Dion) Swafford, Vickie Carrington and Gayle (B0b) Redlich; and other relatives and friends.
