Bridgestone Americas Inc. debuted its new Turanza EV grand touring tire, the company’s first-ever replacement tire designed specifically for premium electric vehicles and the first to feature Bridgestone ENLITEN technology.
The new Bridgestone Turanza EV tire was designed to account for the vehicle dynamics of EVs and has a longer tread life, minimal ride noise and confident wet handling. The initial five sizes include fitments for Tesla Model 3, S, X and Y and Ford Mustang Mach-E, with 13 additional sizes launching in early 2024. Additional key engineering features of the Bridgestone Turanza EV grand touring tire include ENLITEN tire technology that allows for longer mileage range; a 50,000-mile limited warranty due to PeakLife polymer technology that improves mileage; and more.
