Ingersoll Rand Inc. has released the D5241 IQV20 Hammer Drill, a battery-powered, cordless tool with drill, driver and hammer drill modes.
The brushless motor powers 1,100 in-lbs. of torque. Technicians can control the torque to a precise level by adjusting between the high- and low-speed options. The 24-position clutch allows fine-tuned fastening depth, eliminating cam-outs and over-torqued fasteners, which results in better efficiency and saves on materials.
The D5241 IQV20 Hammer Drill is sold on its own, or as part of a kit with two five-amp hour batteries. A LED light illuminates work areas and reduces shadows, and the rubberized handle is made to resist impact and kickback, which protects the user's hands, as well as the tool from any damage.
