Coxreels has introduced its new SMK-702 Series Swivel Mounting Brackets, designed to give technicians more flexibility when positioning and using the company’s 100 Series hose reels and V-100 Series vacuum reels.

The USA-made brackets are constructed from heavy-gauge steel and provide 360-degree rotation, allowing users to direct the reel toward the work area and improve hose payout and rewind.

An offset design allows the reel to track automatically in the direction of hose payout when the bracket is unlocked. An ergonomic pin lock can then secure the reel in multiple fixed positions.

The SMK-702 Series also incorporates a full-length vertical bearing and stability thrust bearing designed to provide smooth operation and durability in demanding shop and service environments.

The brackets feature a gloss-black powder-coated finish and are available in two sizes.

The SMK-702-8 is designed for Coxreels 100 Series reels with an 8-inch drum width, including the 112-3-100 and 117-3-250 models.

The SMK-702-12.5 fits 100 Series reels with a 12.5-inch drum width, including the 112-3-150, 117-3-400, 112-4-75, 117-4-225 and 117-5-100 models. It is also compatible with all V-100 Series vacuum reels, including the V-112-730, V-117-835 and V-117-850.

Coxreels says the new mounting brackets expand its lineup of accessories for heavy-duty hose, cord and cable reels.
