BFGoodrich Takes Its Off-Road Racing Love to Sponsorship Level

Michelin North America Inc.'s BFGoodrich brand will be the presenting sponsor of the largest desert race in the U.S., the Polaris RZR Mint 400 March 9-12, 2016, in Las Vegas, Nev.

The multi-year sponsorship allows BFGoodrich Tires to engage with the off-road community throughout the full schedule of events, including the pre-race contingency festivities on Fremont Street, the annual Pit Crew Challenge, on site at the race itself and through broadcast on NBC Sports and advertising platforms.

“Desert racing is where BFGoodrich Tires has written much of its off-road history,” says Jaye Young, business segment manager for BFGoodrich Tires. “Sponsoring the MINT 400 provides a signature event in the United States for us to demonstrate product performance and develop activities around the race that continue to prove our leadership with the off-road enthusiast community.”

BFGoodrich is coming off a record year of success in off-road racing, from short course championships to more desert race wins than any other tire manufacturer. BFGoodrich has won 20 of the last 22 overall major North American desert races.
