Sumitomo Rubber North America Inc.’s Team Falken racing team returned to the King of Hammers race after a three-year hiatus.
The King of Hammers Race took place in Johnson Valley, Calif., on Feb. 3.
Shad Kennedy, racer for Team Falken, placed second in the Every Man Challenge 4500 Class.
Kennedy competed on Falken Wildpeak M/T tires.
“Shad put on a show and really embodied what it means to drive for Team Falken,” says Doug Fletcher, off-road motorsports supervisor for Falken.
In addition to supporting the drivers and their teams, Falken’s Motorsports Team showcased new products at the race. One new product was Falken’s Wildpeak R/T tire, which launched in 2023.
Team Falken had two drivers – Justin Hall in the 13 Fabrication Falken Livery Suzuki Samurai and Josh Atteberry from Atteberry Motorsports.
