Bridgestone Americas Inc. announced that Tom O’Gorman, a professional race car driver, will complete on Bridgestone Potenza RE-71RS tires in the Grand Touring Over at the World Racing League (WRL).
O’Gorman will race a 2012 Porsche 987 Cayman equipped with Bridgestone Potenza RE-71RS tires and wrapped in a special Bridgestone livery in the WRL, which continues April 5-7, 2024, at mid-Ohio in Lexington, Ohio.
The Bridgestone Potenza RE-71RS tire is available in 38 sizes from 15- to 20-inch rim diameters in the United States and Canadian markets. Popular fitments include Porshe Cayman, Mazda Miata, Subaru BRZ, Ford Mustang and BMW 3-Series.
O’Gorman is partnering with Bridgestone to ride on Potenza RE-71RS tires for the duration of the WRL 2024 season, which continues through December.
The WRL is a highly competitive, professional-level racing series, which is celebrating its 10th year of operation in 2024.
