Yokohama Tire Corp. will again showcase its brand presence at the Broadmoor Pikes Peak International Hill Climb June 21 in Colorado Springs, Colo.
Over 20 Yokohama-sponsored drivers will be competing on ADVAN tires across multiple divisions during the race, and the company is returning as the exclusive tire supplier for the Pikes Peak GT4 Trophy by Yokohama for the ninth consecutive year, say Yokohama officials.
This year’s GT4 division features entries from Porsche, BMW and Toyota – all of which are equipped with ADVAN A052 tires. Laura Hayes, who holds the Pikes Peak record for “Fastest Woman,” will return in a Toyota Supra GT4 EVO2.
“We’re excited to return with another exceptionally strong lineup for this year’s hill climb,” says Patricia Wall, Yokohama’s senior manager of motorsports. “After last year’s weather-shortened race, our Team Yokohama drivers are eager to return and compete on the full-length legendary mountain course.”
In recent years, Robin Shute has led the tiremaker to two overall “King of the Mountain” titles on ADVAN tires. "Shute returns this year in his self-designed 2026 Sendycar, competing in the Unlimited Division (Super Unlimited Class) on ADVAN A005s featuring a special hill climb compound developed specifically by Yokohama for Pikes Peak."
Other notable Team Yokohama drivers include:
- Robb Holland will power his Kellymoss Racing Porsche GT4R on ADVAN A005s in the Time Attack 1 Division.
- Dai Yoshihara will also be in Time Attack 1, driving an Acura Integra Type-S on ADVAN A005s. Acura is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year.
- Cole Powelson, who won the Open Wheel division in 2024, will compete in the Unlimited Division (Production Based Class) in his 2025 Stryker Rogue Maverick on ADVAN A005s.
- Phillip McGilton, a rookie, will compete in a 2020 Campbell Enterprises Ultra4 car in the Exhibition Division.

JT Taylor, in partnership with Warrior Built, will race in a 1967 Dodge Coronet R/T equipped with ADVAN A005s in the Pikes Peak Open Division.
Yokohama Tire is a corporate partner of Warrior Built, "a non-profit focused on rehabilitating combat veterans and wounded service members through vocational and recreational therapy, such as building and racing off-road vehicles," say company officials.
Broadmoor Pikes Peak International Hill Climb will be broadcast in its entirety on June 21 through the RACER Network cable channel and the RACER+ streaming app.
Yokohama's North American-based motorsports partnerships include the Porsche Sprint Challenge North America by Yokohama, Porsche Sprint Challenge USA West by Yokohama, Porsche Endurance Challenge North America by Yokohama, the Mustang Cup, Subaru Motorsports USA, the Velocity Invitational and others.
