The BFGoodrich Tires brand will be the official tire partner of the ChampCar Endurance Racing Series.
BFGoodrich officials say the partnership will provide a platform to showcase its g-Force Rival+ tire, designed specifically for endurance racing, and other new products. The gForce Rival+ is listed on ChampCar’s approved tire “whitelist” and "is designed to meet the all-around performance, consistency and longevity expectations of modern grassroots endurance racers."
During the ChampCar Endurance Racing Series, racers will receive a variety of benefits, including access to a rebate program for BFGoodrich tires and other brand resources, including the recently launched BFGoodrich Performance Driving Guide, co-authored by brand ambassador Ross Bentley.
“Cementing this relationship with ChampCar is the latest step in bringing BFGoodrich’s ultra-high performance efforts back to the forefront,” says T.J. Dennis, BFGoodrich ultra-high performance (UHP) brand manager. “This partnership is mutually beneficial for each brand, and we’re eager to help ChampCar racers reach another level of performance.”
In the fall of 2025, BFGoodrich launched the g-Force Rival+ tire as a complement to the g-Force Rival S, according to officials. The Rival+ tire features a new rubber compound designed to offer "endurance-based track enthusiasts long-lasting performance and reliable wet-handling capability," as well as a reinforced internal structure to improve steering response.
There are 14 sizes of the Rival+ tire currently available.
BFGoodrich’s “Team T/A" is an endurance racing team piloted by BFGoodrich employees and featured guest drivers participating exclusively in the ChampCar Endurance Racing Series.
The team debuted at Daytona in April with Grassroots Motorsports Magazine as their guest, finishing 16th out of 100 cars. The team showcased the g-Force Rival+ tire during the Sebring race in late June and will race VIR in August and Circuit of the Americas in December, say BFGoodrich officials.
