The Cook Out Southern 500 opens the playoffs for the NASCAR Cup Series on Sunday, Sep. 6. The 367-lap race begins at 5 p.m. ET at Darlington Raceway. Allmendinger, a three-time NASCAR Cup Series winner, returns to Darlington following a fifth-place finish in the 2025 Southern 500.
