Goodyear Debuts 13-Foot-Wide Off-The-Road Tire

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co.'s 63-inch OTR tire is 13 feet wide and weighs 12,000 pounds. The tire is part of the company's Rock Mining (RM) line and comes in two sizes: 53/80R63 and 59/80R63. Each size is available with E3/E4 tread dersigns. Goodyear says its 63-inch tire contains its latest technologies in materials, design, construction and manufacturing. The tire is precision-made, using state-of-the-art, fully integrated tire manufacturing equipment that is wholly unique ti the OTR tire industry using advanced computer simulation tools.
