The Automotive Distribution Network has announced a complete motorsports program as part of its primary sponsorship of six-time World champion Clay Millican and his Parts Plus Top Fuel dragster for the 2012 NHRA Full Throttle Series, said Mike Lambert, president of the Network.
“After the positive response to our sponsorship of MPE Motorsports and Clay Millican for 12 races last year, we’re committing to the full 23-event NHRA slate for 2012, providing extensive marketing support and pit-side hospitality packages at tracks nationwide,” Lambert said. “Hospitality ensures that our Parts Plus members and jobbers, as well as our manufacturer partners serving as associate sponsors, maximize our promotional efforts on a local basis to effectively reach the end user–the professional who throws away the box.”
Starting with the February 9–12 race weekend in Pomona, Calif., Parts Plus affiliates will benefit from promotional product tie-ins as well as have the opportunity to host the Top Fuel show car and driver at their business. The Parts Plus logo and vibrant orange-and-red color scheme will be prominently featured on the dragster and the transporter as well as on the driver and crew uniforms, and the team’s vans, trucks and chase cars. Logos featuring select manufacturers will also be included on the Parts Plus dragster as associate sponsors.
“I’m thrilled that Parts Plus is on board for the whole season,” Millican said. “Their support has generated excitement for our team as we gear up for 2012 with two brand-new cars and all the parts and pieces we need to compete at a championship level.”
