Kumho Tire U.S.A. Inc. plans to build a run-flat version of its Ecsta STP tire in late 2006.
The tire will be available in size 195/55R16, according to Kumho officials.
Currently, Kumho only offers run-flats as replacement options for the C5 Corvette.
Kumho Brand Director Rick Brennan says Kumho's run-flat approach is not to develop a specific run-flat line.
"What you'll see are run-flat sizes popping up in different product lines."
