Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. has named Richard Zeyen III director of materials applications, Asia Technical Center.
"Zeyen will form, organize and lead the materials applications development department of this new facility in Shanghai, China," say Cooper officials.
"In this position, he will be responsible for overall development and industrialization of materials and materials-related technology in Asia, and for laboratory testing operations."
Since joining Cooper as an analytical chemist in 1985, Zeyen has worked as a development chemist, lead chemist, principal chemist and, most recently, lead engineer.
