Schrader introduces AirAware TPMS sensor

Oct. 27, 2006

Schrader Bridgeport International Inc. has unveiled its new AirAware Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) Snap-in Sensor.

The new sensor is a replacement for snap-in sensors introduced

on selected 2007 General Motors vehicles, say Schrader officials.

"It integrates pressure sensing electronics with a rubber ‘snap-in’ tire valve, resulting in fewer component parts, allowing faster installation at lower cost," says Schrader TPMS Project Manager David Weber.
