Falken will raise prices on selected lines Feb. 1

Falken Tire Corp. will implement price increases from 5% to 7% on selected lines effective Feb. 1, 2007.

The price increases are as follows:

* Ziex 60/65, 5%;

* Ziex UHP, 5%;

* FK/ST, 3%;

* S/TZ01 (less than 18 inches), 5%;

* S/TZ04 (less than 18 inches), 7%;

* LandAir H/T, 7%;

* Radial A/P, 7%.

Falken says all backorders will be canceled on Jan 31. Dealers can re-enter supply requests according to the Feb 1, 2007 schedule.

Kumho Tire U.S.A. Inc. also will raise prices up to 7% effective Feb. 1. The company said its passenger, light truck and commercial truck tire prices will vary by tire model.
