Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. plans to offer buy-outs at four of its Engineered Products division plants.
The plants include Lincoln, Neb.; Sun Prairie, Wis.; and St. Marys and Marysville, Ohio.
A Goodyear spokesman has confirmed that the Akron, Ohio-based company plans to offer buy-outs of as much as $40,000 in an effort to trim about 400 hourly positions.
