Labor contract negotiations between Bridgestone Firestone North American Tire LLC and the United Steelworkers resumed on Jan. 30. in St. Louis, Mo.
The parties will work to forge a new agreement that will cover two industrial products plants and five tire manufacturing facilities.
The tire plants are located in Akron, Ohio; La Vergne, Tenn.; Des Moines, Iowa; Warren County, Tenn.; and Bloomington, Ill.
